This house started as a one room cabin more than 200 years ago and evolved to its current size. Each owner before me did a great job to add to the longevity. In 1990, all of the plumbing was replaced with copper pipe and PVC drain lines. The electrical system was replaced, the entire inside walls were sheeted the ½ inch plywood and then covered with ½ sheet rock. The floors and attic had foam insulation blown to make the home energy efficient. The old wavy glass windows were kept and Sure Seal plastic window inserts keep out the heat and cold. The interior is marriage of old and new with all the amenities. One step into this old home and you will feel the peace and love that only occurs after two centuries of life.
